The ideal companions to a truffle menu are the
Barbera and Barolo wines, coming from Piedmont.

“Braida” di Giacomo Bologna is world-known for its
first-class Barbera. Dr. Norbert Rheinisch presents Barbera d’Asti DOC Montebruna 2005 and Barbera d’Asti Bricco dell’Uccellone 2005.

Vietti – a winery, which has belonged to the
Piedmont’s wine elite for decades and which is
known as the pioneer of the Barolo grown in single
vineyards. Owner Mario Cordero presents the
“King of Wines”:
Langhe Nebbiolo DOC Perbacco 2005 and
Barolo DOCG Lazzarito 2003.

Sunday, March 9th – „Miss Bartolo“

Siemen Rühaak – A Tuscan menu after recipes of
the Roman character “Fra Bartolo” with wines of the
winery Fattoria di Magliano from 11.30am to 3pm at
the “Kunstkeller” located at the winery Georg Müller Stiftung Hattenheim.

Accompanied by a 4 course menu of
Timothy Mosblech (L’Auberge, Carmel/California) and Patrik Kimpel, the owner of the winery
„Fattoria di Magliano“ Agostino Lenci opens his great
Tuscan red wines Morellino di Scansano DOC HEBA
2005 and Rosso Maremma IGT Poggio Bestiale 2005.

Heinz Winkler prepares a 3*** gala menu in 5 courses
at the highest level. The Champagne Billecart Salmon
Blanc de Blancs follow excellent red wines of the
winery Franz Haas, South Tyrol.

35 wineries of VDP Rheingau/Germany present their
Top-Riesling and selected Spätburgunder on historical Rheingauer terrain at the “Laiendormitorium” of the
Abbey Eberbach.

Together with “Italians TOP 20” visitors go on a
journey to the best winemakers Italy’s - from the
snow-covered mountain top of South Tyrol to the
sun-blessed vineyards of Sicily.
